GLOSSHAUS NAILS & SPA – TERMS & CONDITIONS

INTRODUCTION

These Terms & Conditions (“Agreement”) govern all services, products, memberships, appointments, and interactions at GlossHaus Nails & Spa (“GlossHaus,” “we,” “our,” or “the Salon”). By booking an appointment, entering the premises, purchasing any service or product, or receiving any service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by this Agreement.

1. APPOINTMENTS & BOOKING REQUIREMENTS

All appointments must be secured through GlossHaus-approved booking methods. A valid credit card is required to reserve all appointments. GlossHaus reserves the right to require deposits or full prepayment for certain services, promotions, groups, or peak booking times. Walk-ins are accepted solely at the discretion of management and subject to availability. By booking, you authorize GlossHaus to charge the card on file for any applicable fees.

2. CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING & NO-SHOW POLICY

A minimum of 12 hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule any appointment. Cancellations made with less than 12 hours’ notice may result in a cancellation fee of up to fifty percent (50%) of the scheduled service total. Failure to appear without notice constitutes a no-show and will be charged one hundred percent (100%) of the service total.

3. LATE ARRIVALS

If you are running late, please notify us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate your full service; however, services may be shortened to stay on schedule. If we are unable to complete your service due to late arrival, the appointment may be treated as a same-day cancellation.

4. DEPOSITS & PREPAYMENTS

All deposits are non-refundable and applied to the final service total where applicable. Deposits are forfeited for late cancellations, no-shows, or failure to arrive for service. Deposits are not applied to all GlossHaus services. If one is required for a service, you will be prompted prior to finalizing your booking.

5. PRICING & SERVICE STRUCTURE

All pricing is subject to change without notice. Additional charges may apply for specialty designs, repairs, removal services, product upgrades, and service complexity.

6. NO REFUNDS & ADJUSTMENT POLICY

GlossHaus does not provide refunds for completed services. Any adjustments must be requested within forty-eight (48) hours of the original service and are offered solely at management discretion.

7. HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY

Services will not be provided on guests with open wounds, infections, or contagious conditions. Guests failing to disclose such conditions waive all liability against GlossHaus.

8. MEDICAL DISCLOSURE

Guests must disclose all medical conditions that may affect services, including but not limited to diabetes, circulatory conditions, immune disorders, pregnancy, or allergies.

9. PRODUCT SALES

All retail product sales are final and non-refundable. Exchanges for defective merchandise must be made within seven (7) days with proof of purchase.

10. CHILDREN & GUEST POLICY

Only guests receiving services are permitted in service areas. Children must remain supervised at all times.

11. PERSONAL BELONGINGS

GlossHaus is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.

12. GRATUITIES

Gratuity is not included in service pricing and is left to guest discretion.

13. RIGHT TO REFUSE SERVICE

GlossHaus reserves the unrestricted right to refuse service for safety, sanitation, or behavioral concerns.

14. MEMBERSHIPS, PACKAGES & GIFT CARDS

Memberships are non-transferable and non-refundable. Gift cards have no cash value and will not be replaced if lost or stolen.

15. PHOTOGRAPHY & MEDIA

GlossHaus may photograph or record services for promotional use unless written refusal is provided.

16. LIABILITY WAIVER & ASSUMPTION OF RISK

By receiving services, guests assume all risks and release GlossHaus from all claims related to undisclosed conditions, allergic reactions, or aftercare negligence.

17. PAYMENT METHODS

All services must be paid in full at the time of service. Chargebacks initiated without prior communication may result in permanent booking restriction.

18. POLICY MODIFICATIONS

GlossHaus reserves the right to modify these Terms & Conditions at any time without notice.

19. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted according to the laws of the State of Illinois.

GLOSSHAUS NAILS & SPA – LEGAL DISCLAIMER & LIMITATION OF LIABILITY ADDENDUM

NO MEDICAL ADVICE

All services are cosmetic in nature only and are not medical services. GlossHaus does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition. Any advice provided shall not be construed as medical advice.

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

Guests acknowledge that cosmetic services involve inherent risks including allergic reactions, irritation, infection, nail damage, and unexpected outcomes, and voluntarily assume all known and unknown risks.

RELEASE & HOLD HARMLESS

Guests release, indemnify, and hold harmless GlossHaus, its owners, employees, affiliates, and agents from all claims, damages, or liabilities arising from services rendered, products used, undisclosed conditions, or aftercare negligence.

CLIENT MEDICAL DISCLOSURE

Guests certify that all medical disclosures provided are accurate and complete and assume full responsibility for resulting outcomes of nondisclosure.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

GlossHaus’s liability shall not exceed the cost of the service provided and shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages.

NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS

GlossHaus makes no express or implied guarantees regarding service outcomes, durability, or aesthetic results.

THIRD-PARTY PRODUCTS

GlossHaus is not responsible for manufacturer defects, recalls, or ingredient reactions related to third-party products used.

PHOTO & MEDIA RIGHTS

Unless declined in writing, guests grant GlossHaus unrestricted rights to use images and videos for marketing without compensation.

BREACH & REMEDIES

Policy violations may result in service denial, legal action, or collections.

SEVERABILITY

If any provision is deemed unenforceable, remaining sections shall remain in effect.

BINDING ARBITRATION

Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Cook County, Illinois, and guests waive the right to jury trial.

GOVERNING LAW

This Addendum is governed by Illinois law.

ENTIRE AGREEMENT

This Addendum and Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between parties.
