A nail health salon · Since 2025

nails that look good, and nails that are healthy, should be the same appointment.

For a long time you had to pick one. We believe beautiful hands begin with healthy ones, so here they are the same appointment. Female-founded in Lincoln Square, built around the nail rather than the finish.

From the founder

it started with my own hands

I wore acrylics for over fifteen years. What I remember is not the sets. It is the days in between, when my nails were thin enough to bend and I had quietly decided that was the cost of having them done.

I went looking for a place that cared as much about what was left underneath as what went on top. There was no such thing, so I started reading, and could not stop. A nail health salon was not a category anyone was offering. It became the one I built.

The rest I knew how to do. Fifteen years in organizational development, building teams and working out what lets people do their best work, which turns out to be most of what a salon is.

I am raising three children here, so I know how little time there is. That is why the time you book is genuinely yours.

Where it goes furthest

the question turned into a course

A nail grows three millimeters a month and replaces itself in four to six. Mine never got there. They would reach a decent length, split at the corner, and I would cut them all back and start again.

The problem was never growth. It was survival. So we built a course around one idea: protect the nail while it grows, photograph every visit, and let six months of evidence do the arguing.

If those hands sound like yours, start here.

What nail health means here

four things that make it a health salon

01
the cuticle first

Whether a manicure lasts is decided before any color goes on. Every service begins with proper prep, and our Russian services use a dry e-file technique that works the cuticle back rather than cutting it. Polish sits flush at the nail line and grows out cleanly.

02
what goes on your nails

Our gels are HEMA-free and TPO-free. HEMA is behind most gel allergies, and a reaction is usually permanent. Hand and foot care is plant-based, and everything is vegan and cruelty-free. Decided before we opened, not after a complaint.

03
how clean it is

Implements sterilized between every guest. Files and buffers single-use. Basins disinfected between appointments. Ask us about any of it, we would rather you did.

04
the pace

Every service is scheduled for the time it actually takes, so nobody is rushing you toward the door. The time you booked is the time you get.

The visit

three ways to take your time

Every service begins the same way, with the nail itself. What you add is a matter of how long you would like to stay.

The space

on north western avenue

Lincoln Square, with designated spaces for guests and free street parking all around. The room is quiet on purpose, and quiet here means considered rather than empty. The music is what you would hear at a good desert spa, kept low enough that nobody raises their voice.

Bring a book, or say nothing at all. Plenty of people don't.

In plain terms

what we don't claim

We are a spa for hands, feet and face

No sauna, no steam room, no massage table. The spa in our name is the ritual, the soaks and masques and warm towels, not a building full of rooms.

We don't treat conditions

Nail health answers to iron, medication, thyroid, and genetics. We protect and maintain. If something needs a doctor, we will say so.

We are not the cheapest

Our prices reflect the time each service takes and what we put on your hands.

Working here

we hire for the same thing we practice

Every technician is licensed by the State of Illinois. It is a small team on purpose, and the room stays calm because the people working in it are looked after too. You will usually see the same person, and they will remember what your nails did last time.

We hire people who care about nail health as much as finish. If that sounds like you, get in touch.
